Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)

Best friends since they could walk. In love since the age of fourteen.
Complete strangers since this morning.
He’ll do anything to remember. She’ll do anything to forget.

So, the story.
Charlie and Silas are two people who woke up with no recollection of their past whatsoever. They have no idea what their worlds are built on. But all they know is that they woke up at the same time, in the same situation. At this point, I’m going to stop, because if I tell you anything else, it will be a spoiler. And *spoiler free zone* 😉
That said, I LOOOOVED THIS STORY. The plot twists. The feeeels. The rekindling friendships. Reading Charlie and Silas discovering little bits of themselves everyday made me fall in love with them. I felt their pain and confusion and happiness every single step of the way, and they had me on edge, like
Never Never was definitely a book I would read a million times over, and if you have read Don’t Look Back by Jennifer Armentrout, it had that mystery/suspense feel to it, which I absolutely loooved. It had everything I appreciate in a boy, girl, and book. The humor, puns, gorgeous boy, confident girl. But what I liked most about it was the way everything fell into place so perfectly.
The mystery in this book, in my opinion, was FLAWLESS. There were sooo many scenarios running through my head at any given moment, trying to guess what Silas and Charlie’s pasts were, but with every detail and every scene, I lost myself in their story a little more. This book told me nothing, and so much at the same time. One minute you think you know what’s going to happen and BAM! NOPE. There go your predictions.
And I cannot forget about the writing. Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher are goddesses, suffice to say. I can’t get over how brilliantly they put this story on paper. Like, please.

We’re branded. You and me. We are so in love, Charlie. You feeling it yet? Do I make your heart go pitter patter

The only thing that I felt was the story was too short, and the craziest part of the book was basically squished into the last chapter, but I kinda loved it like that because it made the suspense more potent. Anyways, I completely recommend reading this. It is definitely up there on my lists of breathtakingly suspenseful books. But BE WARNED. The cliffhanger is one that made me stare at my computer for a good 10 minutes, with a face like:
I’m gonna make you fall in love with me again.
 4.5 butterflies

FIRST REVIEW = SLAMMED (book 1 of the Slammed series) by Colleen Hoover :)

QUICK SYNOPSIS, from the amazing Colleen Hoover, herself:

Following the unexpected death of her father, 18-year-old Layken is forced to be the rock for both her mother and younger brother. Outwardly, she appears resilient and tenacious, but inwardly, she’s losing hope.

Enter Will Cooper: The attractive, 21-year-old new neighbor with an intriguing passion for slam poetry and a unique sense of humor. Within days of their introduction, Will and Layken form an intense emotional connection, leaving Layken with a renewed sense of hope.

Not long after an intense, heart-stopping first date, they are slammed to the core when a shocking revelation forces their new relationship to a sudden halt. Daily interactions become impossibly painful as they struggle to find a balance between the feelings that pull them together, and the secret that keeps them apart

MY FEELINGS, oh so many feelings..

SO, this book…I mean what can I say other than pure, unadulterated, swoonworthy ROMANCE. ohmygoodness…I cannot begin to fathom how much this book means to me..i LOVED will. i LOVED layken. I LOVED kel and caulder.i LOVED lake’s mom. So…I think the better question is what didn’t I like. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Honestly(because how else would I write a review) this book is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites because of the strength and angst that poured out of the pages. I felt every moment of will and lake’s relationship. Yeah. I was frustrated, hopeful, devastated, shocked, and ALL that other good stuff…but it was all in the best way, if you know what I mean.
LAKE! ah, #rolemodelstatus. forreal, she is the stubborn yet beautiful (inside and out) woman that I strive to be. the roads she had to cross by the end of the book had me admiring her for just staying sane and living up to every darn expectation i had for her, as a character and a person. LOVE MY HEROINES 🙂 ❤ AND WILL! OMG WILL.

HE IS MY DREAM BOY IN EVERY SINGLE WAY! the way he cares for lake. *sigh*

“I didn’t think it would be this hard,” he says quietly.

I don’t want to give the gratification of seeing the tears that are making their way down my cheeks.

and throughout all their hardships, they really did stay true to themselves, lake to her family, and will to his beliefs, something that was beautiful beyond words. UGH CAN’T GET OVER HOW GOOD THIS BOOK WAS.

AND the way will was able to get his feelings across in every single one of his slams..I mean *SWOOON*  My opinion:? THE SLAMS WERE THE BEST PART. from will and lake’s very first date to the finale, every single one of the slams brought new meaning to the book. I LOVE the way the slams were will and lake’s way of figuring it all out and putting their hearts on the line…it was THEIR thing, and for me, that’s what made the book extra special. 😀

i mean, Lake definitely surprise me with her slam. It was pretty epic, i mean. let’s be honest.

I got schooled this year by a boy, a boy that I’m seriously, deeply, madly, incredibly, and undeniably in love with.

And he taught me the most important thing of all

to put the emphasis

on life

Sometimes, life gets in your way.

It gets all up in your damn way.

But its doesn’t get all up in your damn way because it wants you to just give up and let it take control. Life doesn’t get all up in your damn way because it just wants you to hand it all over and be carried along

Life want you to fight it.

Learn how to make it your own.

and there went my sanity. HEHE. These two blew my mind, JUST LIKE THIS BOOK AND ITS STORY AND MESSSAGE. Others in the book really made it whole. EDDIE. KEL, CAULDER. JULIA. THE BASAGNA. THE AVETT BROTHERS. too much to take.

SO, as if you haven’t noticed by now, THIS BOOK IS AMAZEBALLS. EVERY INCH OF IT DESERVES THE SIX (ON A SCALE OF 5) DIVINE BUTTERFLIES 🙂 honestly, what else could we possible give to this.
